Tank-Weld Fabrication has been in the fabrication business since 1970. The division was previously part of Tank-Weld Limited, but as of October 1, 1998, became a division of T.W. Steel Fabrication Limited (a newly created subsidiary of the Tank-Weld Group of Companies). The office and workshop are located at 597 Spanish Town Road.
Tank-Weld Fabrication has the agency for Stainless Process for the supply of stainless steel fittings and for Columbian Steel for the supply of bolted tanks.
We fabricate and erect steel-framed buildings and will also sheet the buildings. Tank-weld Fabrication can also fabricate and install mezzanines to new or existing buildings.
We can also offer a turn-key operation by designing your building, get plans drawn up and approved and then fabricating and erecting the structure.
Tank-Weld Fabrication fabricates tanks from mild steel, stainless steel, copper and
aluminum. We are also able to offer fiberglass coated underground tanks for use by
the Petroleum Industry. Typical tank sizes include 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 gallon. We
recently fabricated and erected a five hundred thousand gallon tank for Shell Oil
Company. Larger sized bolted tanks can be also supplied and erected.Sixty-five
thousand gallon tanks have been supplied and installed for the National Water Commission.
Tank-weld Fabrication can fabricate and erect towers. Several towers were erected for
Jamaica Public Service and recently towers have been erected for Cable and Wireless
and for Mossel, one of the new players in the Cellular Industry.
The company has done work for sculptures also: most notably, some of the monuments
done in 1999 for the National Heroes.
Tank-Weld Fabrication has a workshop at 597 Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11
in which plate can be cut, bent or rolled. The company can also bend certain pipe
sizes. Holes can be drilled in plate and they can thread smooth bar.
